Drink half your body weight in ounces a day!
I can’t stress enough, how important water is for you. Our bodies are 75 to 80% water. We can’t survive without it. Many people drink sugar-loaded sodas or diet drinks, these products don’t add any health benefits to your body, but can actually counteract the effects that pure clean water has on your body. Here are just some facts about water.
Boosts metabolism by increasing the body’s ability to burn fat.
Keeps muscles hydrated, preventing muscle fatigue and increasing muscle performance.
Water helps your kidneys function. Your kidneys have the job of cleaning and ridding your body of toxins, but only if you drink enough fluids to keep your body hydrated.
Helps maintain bowel function by keeping things flowing and preventing constipation.
Maintains the balance of body fluids such as digestion, absorption, transportation of nutrients, circulation and much more!
Substituting water instead of high calorie drinks will help control your caloric intake by lot!!
Drink a glass of water before sitting down to eat a meal. This will help keep you feeling full.
Most people confuse hunger for thirst. Next time you think your hungry and reach for that snack grab a glass of refreshing water and drink. 9 times out of 10 you will no longer be “hungry”
