Challenge Friday (Jan 10, 2014)

Your challenge/goal for this week is:

"I will use a salad plate to help control my portion sizes"

Portion control is key to weight loss. So many times people come to me saying, "I'm eating healthy and exercising, but I continue to gain weight." In this situation 9 times out of 10 its all in their portion size! If your eating is not so healthy cutting your portion size will absoluetly help you too, just eat less of what you normally eat. Keep in mind though, this will bring you only so far then eventually you will have to start making healthier choices for overall health as well as weight loss, weight gain, and/or maintenance.

*FYI Dinner plates have increased in size by 25% since the 1970's!!!!
